WHO WE ARE
This is our story.
The Lecsó Foundation plays a connecting and mediating role between civil people and the decision-making bodies of the public service institutional system. Our goal is to connect actors who work for the same cause. During joint work, we can cover a wider spectrum together and the programs can operate even more efficiently.
Our choice of name also refers to this: we want to provide a path that connects, takes you forward, and gives directions.
We primarily provide educational programs for civil organizations so that these organizations can properly represent their interests to decision-makers, and at the same time contribute to increasing their knowledge base,
by introducing international experiences and applying them in everyday practice.
We also consider the public service institutional system as a partner. We help them to get to know the information and experiences provided by NGOs better, and to use them in their work.

Be a HERO too!
UNFORTUNATELY THE REALITY
If we choose the EU average, it turns out that the vast majority of Hungary's population is considered poor. According to TÁRKI's study, all other former socialist countries managed to reduce their lag compared to the average of the European Union - except Hungary! The Hungarian poverty threshold was just 40% of the EU average as it was in 2005 in while everyone else managed to improve. The Poles, for example, who were also at 40%, reached 70% of the EU average! Slovaks are at 60%, Czechs at 80%.
Where is the poverty?
In Finland, France and Holland, only 5% of the population is considered poor. 20% of the population in the Czech Republic, 40% in Poland,
50% in Slovakia, more than 75% here!
Viktor Orbán's people
The Hungarian economy did not perform that much worse.
INCOME DIFFERENCES HAVE GROWN: THE POWER AND LOYALTY OLIGARCHS HAVE EXPLODED THEIR INCOMES.
Although these extraordinary incomes raise the average, they do not bring much comfort to the millions of poor people.
Orbán's strategy is clear:
THE WELL-PAID ELITE AND THE POVERTY MAJORITY CONSTITUTE THE ROCK-SOLID FOUNDATION OF THE SYSTEM OF NATIONAL COOPERATION. THE EU'S BILLIONS OF EUROS.
They are not coming now...
However, they would be greatly needed, since the elite must be financed, and health care or law enforcement cannot be completely neglected either.
The poor are dependent on the state, and thus can vote for the person from whom they hope to receive benefits. Of course, we also need a media loyal to the authorities, which diligently misleads the poor,
to see the main enemy in Brussels.
The interest of power is to keep the poor in a dependent position, but not to face it. But this requires money, and not a lot of it. The poor can be bought cheaply, but since there are many of them, the government has to spend a lot of money on this before the elections.
Finance Minister Mihály Varga hopes that the problems can be solved without EU funds, but Orbán knows exactly that this is not the case.
That is why he allows Matolcsy to criticize economic policy.
The President of the National Bank is calling attention to the fact that inflation can destroy the system of national cooperation.
The poor are used to the fact that their pitifully low standard of living will at least certainly remain or even increase to a small extent.
If it turns out that this is not possible due to the plummeting forint,
then Orbán can act like Gyula Horn, who was able to say goodbye to power after the Bokros package, because the standard of living of the poor has radically decreased.
